Berlin Babylon.

Would you like to travel back in time to an old era? For sure, everyone has this kind of fantasy. So which era do you want to travel back? That’s a difficult question I guess. If I can, I will travel all the era of the past and then continue traveling to the future! Anyway, for my opinion, the cultures and architectures of the beginning of human’s history are more attractive for me, not only because of the mystery and the legends of the Gods, but also the miracle cultures which human builded and started.
When I looked at the art of Ishtar Gate in Pergamon Museum of Berlin, I was shook by these unbelievable remnants of ancient Babylon which from thousands years ago. They looked still so colorful
and fresh, I just feel like travel back to the old Babylon city when I was walking in the museum. Those ancient people spend all of their life to build or create one thing, they were loyal to their religion, they were scared of the royal power. Many things made them created miracle- powerful, mystery, enteral cultures.
It is weird to see a woman wear 60s dress stand in front of the babylon wall. But It made a strong contrast, it feels like I did travel back to the past!

Ishtar Gate of Babylon(BC.1867-BC.1595), was the eighth gate to the inner city of Babylon. It was constructed in about 575 BC by order of King Nebuchadnezzar II on the north side of the city.Dedicated to the Babylonian goddess Ishtar, the gate was constructed using a rare blue stone called lapis lazuli with alternating rows of dragons and aurochs.

If I ever had the money I would love to recreate the hanging gardens of Babylon. You look like a sugar plum fairy here hehe. How come the Persian gate is in Germany of all places?

That’s so cute how you pretend the Tower of Babel is in some way related to Babylon.
