I remember the first time I saw Emiliefaif‘s textile works for Etoile-Isabel Marant , I was totally impressed. It was so fresh to me, so peaceful, so calm, so mystery. When you look at her work you feel a sense of calm threw the images, a time left in the past yet threw her works you can really feel the era threw print. Placid colors, soft and serene drawing you in as if to another reality. Not to mention her work looks outstanding in photography as well.
Amongst all the details of her works, i the dress or shoes , which ever one it be there is a calm created because of her choice of minimalism in terms of color. It’s influenced by nature are unique, for someone to draw such imagination from nature itself and infuse this in fashion to give a organic feeling almost. What do I mean by Organic? Feminine and friendly maybe? It is very easy now to mix and clash colors and materials for set designs , then standing tall and saying “this is Art” when in fact most of the time it really is not pleasing to the eye at all. But it takes a great eye and talent to use minimalism in fashion, in art, in this sense. With this mixture of materials, color e.t.c. A elegance reminiscent f a victorian era is created showing us in the combination a gentle feminine and modern theme.
