The theme of this time is” Old school teacher”, women suspender dress originally from 1930s men’s classic suspender wear, suppose to show boyish side of women, but after the adjustments the high waist cut shows women’s amazing shape better than before, like Margaret’s blouse with black suspender wear in the movie “The shop around the corner” , she looks charming and girlish in it. The woman in the suspender is feminine, sexy and elegant,Then it became a really popular item during 30-40s.
I don’t know why this outfit always reminds me old classic school teacher, mature, old-fashioned and attractive. Maybe next time I need a pair of glasses!

Wonderful! This outfit combines many things I love: suspenders, high waisted skirts and a vintage vibe. I do have a pair of suspenders and upon thinking about it, wonder why I don’t put it to use more often, haha. Always love your unique creations. =)

It’s quite interesting to note how suspenders used to be menswear, but are one of the facets that has transcended into womanswear as well. What a great suspender dress, I love how form-fitted the skirt is– it’s truly a classic and flattering silhouette on many people. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a fantastic weekend! xx
