This painting was inspired by my experience when I stayed in the village near Rome with my friend two months ago. It was nearly midnight after we finished the dinner in the town, we had to go back to the bottom of the mountain where we lived. It was too dark to see a thing in the forest, but we still decided to grope the way to go back. I think I will never forget what we saw that night, it was breathtakingly beautiful and very creepy at the same time. That was a truly unforgettable night.
