Last month I was in Switzerland for a magazine shooting and a search for inspiration. Lucerne is one the most relaxing places I have been or have been to for a very long time. I had many adventures such as climbing the mountains and traversing the steeps hills and going past the lakes, the amazing landscape seem almost unreal to me and it gave me a lot of new inspiration and ideas for my Art and further projects. We were lucky to experience such a variety of places on this trip, every day something new and different was there for my eyes and mind to drink in. In order to create something more, to come up with new ideas and new concepts it is very important for a Artist or Designer to have new experiences, new input, new raw data and travel is the best way to achieve this. To a great ad true extent our environment shapes our thinking and imagination, it can aid us in our imagination to create, new combinations of colours in the vegetation or the unfamiliar architecture and even to the point where you experience new people of a different disposition …style….and view on life. More than anything travelling is rejuvenating for the creative soul.
