Just recovered properly from the last trip in Shanghai. The journey there was wonderful, yet very exhausting, sometimes I felt quite lost in that busy, crowded city.
Then I started to miss the day I spent in Hautvillers, one of the most meaningful and relaxing afternoon I had during these recent months. In the Abbaye I learnt much of history behind Dom Perignon himself and his creations… experienced the making process of champagne(from harvesting to the ferment progress), yet learnt to taste champagne like an expert. Everything I witnessed there was very profound and precious. It made me feel like I am exploring a whole new land, trying to discover the truth.
To witness the beauty of creations, it is a manner of travelling as well.
It was inspiring to look at the surrounding architectures in the Abbaye of st Pierre, listening to the histories and walking down the path, as if I travelled back in time to witness how the legend began. Human’s creativities and natural Sciences gave unlimited possibilities to this society… fuelled by passion and all things in life worth doing should be fuelled by passion.
